Class Rooms
The classrooms are designed to be compact so as to stimulate and encourage close interaction between students and faculty. The matchless overall approach and open-door policy of the faculty lends an additional dimension to academic learning at Alok College.
The Teaching-Learning pedagogy used in the classrooms is IT enabled and all classrooms are fitted with LCD projectors and sound systems.
We have a LAN-enabled campus, on which a Learning Management System(LMS) is made available, which can facilitate students to discuss academic topics, submit their assignments online, see their class notes, study through specially designed learning resources.
Library
The spacious library houses a diverse collection of over 18000 volumes apart from subscriptions to leading national and international periodicals and journals. The audio-visual section houses an extensive range of CDROMs, audio and video tapes.
The library serves as a rich workspace for students to do research and referencing. To facilitate better referencing, the collection has been segregated into two distinct units, one for the undergraduate section and the other for the post-graduate section.Our library is provided with a BOOK BANK FACILITY in which the students can keep the books for the whole semester on nominal charges. This enables students to read the books throughout the semester.
Auditorium
Built to international standards, the auditorium reflects, like everything else at the college, the commitment to provide students with the best of facilities. Equipped with full-fledged audio-visual equipment and a digital projection system, the 200 seat college auditorium is the stage for numerous important programmes throughout the year.
Regular guest lectures by dignitaries from India and abroad are conducted. Personality development and Communication skills workshop are organised regularly. We believe in overall development of our candidates.
